In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
From time to time, I engage in deep introspection and ask myself, why do most people greatly prioritize their worldly desires? What will I eat and drink? What will I wear? Which car will I ride? Where will I travel? Whom will I marry? This is accompanied by a terrible neglect of the rights of Allah in worship and adherence to His teachings. I often find the following answers:
Firstly, a lack of certainty and a failure to grasp the reality of the Hereafter.
Secondly, excessive selfishness and an overwhelming love for oneself, overshadowing the love for Allah.
Thirdly, an exaggerated and excessive fear of the worldly affairs.
May Allah bless your evening and enlighten your understanding.

˝When he reached the age of running with him, he said: ˝O my son! I see in a dream that I am slaughtering you, so look, what do you think?˝ He said: ˝O my father! Do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, patient.˝ So when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, We called to him, ˝O Abraham, you have fulfilled the vision.˝ Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. Indeed, this was the clear trial. And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice.˝ (Quran 37:102-107)
Our father Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was tested by Allah, the Almighty, with the sacrifice of his son. He chose to obey the command of his Lord and offered his beloved son to Allah. In return, Allah, the Exalted, protected his son and replaced him with a great sacrifice, bestowing immense rewards, joy, celebration, and blessings upon him. We should realize that every day we are tested with the divine sacrifice. Will we sacrifice our desires for forbidden wealth? Will we sacrifice our laziness and weakness in performing acts of worship? Will we sacrifice our inclination towards immorality?
If we are determined to sacrifice these desires, then know that Allah will compensate us with a great sacrifice, abundant rewards, tranquility, blessings, and facilitation. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, ˝Whoever leaves something for the sake of Allah, He will compensate him with something better.˝
May Allah grant us the strength and determination to overcome our desires and pass the test of divine sacrifice.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Allah, the Exalted, says: ˝Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do.˝ (Surah An-Nur
Lowering the gaze and refraining from looking at inappropriate things is a means to purify the heart from the disease of desires. Purification of the heart leads to modesty and righteousness, which in turn prevents one from indulging in obscenities and immoral acts. Conversely, allowing the gaze to wander inevitably leads to the disease of the heart, characterized by an insatiable pursuit of desires. This disease gives rise to two grave consequences: first, the obsessive pursuit of indecencies and desires with greed and voracity, and second, anxiety, distress, misery, humiliation, and the waste of time and energy.

Title: ˝A Message from God in Surah Aal ˝Imran˝ by Abi al-Hasan Hisham al-Mahjoubi and Abi Maryam Abdelkrim Segari.
#SurahAalImran #MessageFromGod
In Surah Aal ˝Imran, Allah Almighty says: ˝Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return.˝ (Quran 3:14)
#GodsMessage #WorldlyDesires #BestReturn
The contemplation of these enlightening verses from the early part of Surah Aal ˝Imran leads to a divine message directed from Allah, the Exalted, to His servants. The essence of this message is that Allah, the Exalted, has ingrained in human nature the love for worldly desires, such as women, children, wealth, and more. However, this natural love should be subordinate to the love of Allah in the hearts of His servants. When Allah permits something from those adornments and desires, the servant seeks to attain them, expressing gratitude to the Lord by engaging in acts of obedience. Conversely, if Allah prohibits something, the servant distances themselves from it, fearing to disobey their Lord. These pious individuals, who have been promised by Allah the best outcome, recognize that their own selves and all the worldly possessions belong to Allah. Thus, they only deal with His property in a manner that He has permitted. For this reason, they deserve the rank of contentment (al-Ridwan), which represents the highest levels of Paradise and eternal bliss.

Allah, the Exalted, then describes the qualities of these devoted servants. Let us now examine whether these attributes are present within us:
Faith in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, distinguishing the disbelievers from them. (Verse 16)
